Condition Report
both panels are sound and flat. Grain is visible through the paint surface on very close inspection; paint surfaces are both in good clean condition. Ultraviolet reveals a few spots of retouching to the horse and wall in 'Shire horses in a stable.' Held in later plaster gilt frames in fair condition.
