Condition report
The canvas has been relined. Traces of craquelure throughout the paint surface; flecks of paint loss in the upper right corner. Restoration visible to the naked eye off the upper left border. Ultraviolet reveals suggestions of retouching, upper left, to stretcher marks, centre and further spots elsewhere but an opaque varnish prevents a conclusive reading. Held in a later composite frame with old marks and scratches.
