Condition report:
Loss and repaired / replaced wings to the putto. The neck of the putto is also repaired with a crack slightly visible. Chipped and missing fingers to the hands, scuffs and wear to the top of the child’s head also possibly repaired. See photographs. The putto’s left should is also repaired with a break visible.
The head of Venus appears to be in relatively good condition. Missing finger. Dirt and dust overall and to the recesses.
A wash or lacquer applied to the surface and this has chipped in areas. There are also some smaller edge chips.
