A GEORGE III INLAID MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST OF FOUR LONG GRADUATED DRAWERS

Condition report: 

Overall in good functional condition. Some inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.

The handles are more than likely to be replacements, although there are no obvious scar marks or apparent adjustments. The screw threads are tightly fixed at the back of each drawer front. 

A chip to the veneer at the bottom left. Various other areas of repairs to the cockbeading and a few veneers in areas. Several lines of fading / discolouration running down the front - probably from a dropped liquid - at some point. Shrinkage splits to the sides.  A few ring marks scuffs and scratches to the top.
