Seat with old worm and wear. Rails and legs with further wear. Looks to be mounted on later feet and perimeter stretcher. Initial incised into the top of two legs. See extra Bellmans’ website images.
Stool B = 44.5cm wide; 26cm wide; 55cm high
Seat worn with some movement to the timbers and general marks. The seat has split from the one side of the frieze and legs - see images. Seat previously braced. General worm, loss and wear to the legs and rails.
Stool C = 51.5cm high; 42.5cm wide; 25cm deep
Slight movement to the top, worm, loss and wear, possibly trimmed down at the feet - stretcher quite low
Overall, inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
