The case with arched pediment above a shaped glazed panel door, flanked to each side by a canted angle and ormolu-outlined glazed side panel, the restored 2 3/4in circular white enamel dial within a gilt metal engine-turned arched panel with strike/silent subsidiary, the fine twin train chain fusée movement, with anchor escapement, signed to the backplate with pendulum locking block, striking on a bell
25cm high
CONDITION REPORT
With case key and winding key. The movement is ticking and the strike works. It is dirty and would benefit from a clean and service. As noted above the enamel dial is restored. The back door has lost a small fillet of veneer on the opening edge. A piece of moulding is loose from the right-hand side of the plinth and some veneer is loose: it is present though. The case has been repolished at some point and would benefit from some sympathetic work to consolidate it.
