CONDITION REPORT
With heavy brass pendulum bob and flat brass rod pendulum, two brass-cased weights and a crank winding key. The case is in good condition. It has been repolished at some point fairly recently. Some marks and knocks commensurate with age. The movement appears to be in good condition and well maintained. It is a bit oily and might benefit from a clean. The automata mechanism appears to be working. The brass arch around the diorama is possibly replaced: it has a slightly different colour to the brass dial plate and uneven joints where new meets old. The decoration is likely to have been refreshed. The vessels are maybe replaced? The three sailing vessels each have intact rigging lines. With the finials removed the clock is 231cm tall to the centre of the plinth top.
