The hood with a swan neck pediment above a glazed arched dial door, flanked by plain turned columns, above the trunk with bow fronted panel door and flanked by a plain turned column to each side, on a plain base with wavy apron; the 13in arched white painted dial painted with a scene to the arch and foliage to the spandrels, with subsidiaries for date and seconds, signed Jas Christie, Perth, the twin train movement with rack strike on a bell and anchor escapement

CONDITION REPORT
The case has been repolished.  The base has a vertical split.  Some marks and knocks commensurate with age.  The panel door has lost its lock.  The movement appears in good condition and fairly recently cleaned.  Two cast iron weights, cast iron and steel rod pendulum, steel crank winding key.
