The case with an arched hood with glazed dial door and flanked by fluted uprights, the trunk with panel door, on panelled base and stepped plinth, the 9 3/4in arched brass dial with strike/silent, Roman chapter ring enclosing seconds subsidiary and signed Maple London, the twin train movement striking the hour and halves on a coiled steel gong, with anchor escapement

CONDITION REPORT
With two brass-cased weights, steel and brass pendulum and a crank key.  The case is in good condition, although it would benefit from a wax.  The dial has lost its silvering to the chapter ring and is dirty.  The movement will require a full service.
