Roman Cieślewicz (1930-1996) – was one of the main creators of
the ‘Polish poster school’. His key characteristics were simplicity
and readability; combining synthetic signs with poetic metaphors as a means of
expression. He was a member of the Association
of Polish Visual Artists, Alliance Graphique International (AGI), International
Center for the Typographic Arts.
Moda Polaska was a Polish state owned fashion shop, running from 1958 to 1998.

From the Estate of the late Hilary Gerrard (1933-2023), formerly Business Manager to Ringo Starr from the 1970s onwards.
Condition report:
These have been handled over time and subsequently with numerous creases, wear and general movement to the paper, including a few with folded creases to corners and edges, along with a few odd tears to the extremities.
Moda Polska, this is with two corner details - please see extra images of Stt.3. ZAM. 271.E.6 NAKE 5000 +25 to the right hand corner and the monogram for WAG to the left bottom corner. There is also a little loss to the bottom left, together with other smaller edge wear. See photos.
Noz w wodzie - this example with various losses to the corners particularly the top two with a further tear along the top edge, which is approx 6cm long. Please see extra photographs added to the website illustrating some of these issues.
