A GEORGE IV MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD

Condition report: 

Scuffs and scratches, knocks, chips and losses all inevitable and commensurate with wear, use and age.

The upper structure with central door which is loose off it’s hinges. The left side tambour is stuck open. Both tambour doors are missing bone escutcheons. 

The lower section with left drawer missing some veneer to the side (see image) and moulding to the edge of the drawer on the right side. Further chunk missing from the central recess along the edge - approx 6cm long. And three more escutcheons missing from the relevant locks. Horizontal shrinkage cracks to the sides and further shrinkage splits inside the drawer bases.
