A FRENCH NAPOLEON III ORMOLU MOUNTED WHITE MARBLE MANTEL CLOCK

The case surmounted by a reclining figure of Diana the Huntress, the white enamel dial with Roman hours, the twin-train movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped ‘Pickard’  50cm wide; 46cm high 

Condition report: 

The case: some tarnishing, rubbing and mild verde gris is small areas. Rubbing to the gilding in areas. 

Crack to the marble at the front, bottom edge. Various other smaller chips and scuffs. One foot loose.
