The obelisks: one incised ‘LATE RANENSIS’, the other ‘FLAMINIUS’
Condition Report:
Flaminius obelisk - Small chips to the edges and tip, repair to black marble base and where the obelisk meets the base (see images).
Late Ranesis obelisk: Small chips through and loss of tip to obelisk. Evidence of glue where main obelisk meets base (see images).
Maiden: Repainted and loss of paint throughout. Chips to the edges of the base. Prominent screen fixing where torchere is no longer present.
