Each acanthus scroll arm issuing from a strap-work backplate, terminating in a central up-light with a further four scroll fitments, 80cm high overall
Condition report:
Originally probably fitted with glass flambeau shades.
Wear to the gilding - some quite considerable, and tarnishing as to expected, inevitable scuffs, scratches and marks commensurate with wear, use and age. There are a few dents in areas. Some areas of verdi gris.
Five lights per light, consisting of a central fitment and four coming off scrolling arms.
Most components are now rather loose and require tightening, some lights have swung round to point up or down.
The lights are substantial, made for electricity.
Please see extra images, which shows each wall applique. The arms are arranged centrally for 3 of the lights and 2 the arms are arranged to the one side.
