Estimate: £300 - £500
Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

Condition report:

The case

Varius inevitable scuffs, scratches,  small veneer chips and shrinkage cracks,  together with a few marks commensurate with wear, use and age.

A repair to some shrinkage, only mostly visible from the reverse when looking into the case. Shrinkage  split to the bottom and some old worm to the inside side panels.

One bracket foot a little loose, others a little tarnished.

The movement

Engraved decorative detail to the pendulum and back plate of the movement. No winding key. There is no guarantee that the movement is functional and it will need to be thoroughly inspected by a clock specialist.

The dial

A few scuffs and scratches to the painted dial, particularly around the edges, some retouching to the edges visible. The hinge is a little weak. Wear around the catch where the glass door closes.
