The Bronco Buster is one of Remington’s most iconic sculptures and his first. The production of this bronze was highly controlled from its initial registration in October 1895 with two foundries, the Henry Bonnard Bronze Company and later the Roman Bronze Works clearly marking and numbering his work. After his death his wife oversaw the production of some moulds, the last one being numbered 214 in 1918. The copyright expired in the 1960s.
