We would suggest picture is 19th century.
The canvas is lined.
Craquelure visible throughout.
Various marks, including a patch of raised marks to upper right and a raised mark just above head.
Inspection under UV light reveals two lines of retouching to upper right quarter forming a right angle, possibly part of an old repair. Also some retouching to left of face. An opaque varnish prevents further inspection.
Frame has various marks, knocks, chips and losses to both wood and gilding.
