The intaglio has a few tiny chips around the edge of the bloodstone, lion crest in good condition, would benefit from cleaning, the gold mount has one or two tiny surface nicks commensurate with age, part of the hallmark is no longer present, probably as a result of sizing, what marks remain are, maker's/retailer's mark, crown and 18, regrettably the date letter and town of assay are no longer present. It is therefore no possible to date the ring from the hallmark
