Condition Report;
Although there is no decoration to the detachable cover, it is a good fit. In our opinion it is original to the piece. The body of the teapot has several dents and the lower part of the spout is also pushed in. It would be perhaps difficult to remove these dents without damaging the blossom decoration. The handle is rather crudely cast and does not reflect the same quality of decoration as the body of the teapot. There are also some dents to the underneath, these do not affect the marks.
