The brass inlaid top central section lifting up on an easel support - with various scuffs marks, two infilled holes to the one edge, a water mark and various other scuffs, scratches and a slight warp to the timber. The top slides forward to reveal a satinwood, tulipwood and ebony backgammon veneered board - with some lifting lifting to the veneers.
A checker board pulls out beneath, inlaid with fruitwood squares - with some shrinkage cracks and sun fading to the outer front edge.
The brass galleried demi-lune ends of the top are hinged and lift up to reveal compartments.
The lyre shaped end supports and sabre legs with some missing veneers.
Some tarnishing to the brass inlay and rubbing to gilt acanthus mounts on the legs. Some brass stringing pinging out to the front frieze.
Silk probably replaced to the basket.
Other general inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips to veneers to the edges and corners, together with and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
