Condition report: 

Re-gilt at some point, with remains of gold paint used to marble base.  Some rubbing and tarnishing to spout of  ewer and in other minor areas to the body. The turning tap to the upper part of the fitment is redundant.  Fitted for electricity, the wire running up through the body and into the base of the marble. Will require re-wiring and PAT testing prior to use. Shade worn with heavy discolouration to the inside.
