A gold, topaz and imitation pearl necklace
Circa 1840, the front formed as three shaped oval Cannatille work topaz set panels, (one piece of gold missing from one panel), connected by ten rows of imitation seed pearls, on an oval Cannatille work snap clasp, (one oval topaz missing from one panel, the pear shaped topaz missing from the clasp), with a case, detailed Vever Paris, gross weight of necklace 39.5 gms

Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.
There are some missing topaz. Pearls are imitation not seed pearls. Central panel across 4cm. Central topaz is 8.7mm across; 6.9mm high; depth approx 5.4mm. Stones are a little pale, light hint of peachiness, some are lemon yellow. Acid stain on back of the clasp. On one of the left hand panels, missing one of the six beads, centre panel is ok.
