Movement will work for a brief period and fairly soon stops, fusee chain is attached, original end stone to the balance is missing, dial fairly good condition, end of minute hand missing, hour hand slightly bent, interior case considerable loss to gilding, hallmarks clear, very fine script engraving which is no longer legible, but appears to include the date 1823, dust cover in good condition, shagreen case has some loss to the back and to the borders, some stud work is missing, overall personal viewing recommended, some wear to the gilding of the base metal outer case. The outer shagreen and gilt metal case is in association with the inner silver case
