Formed as a large circular dish, reflecting a smaller circular dish beneath, the top dish connected to three rectangular link pendant chains, with panel shaped divisions at intervals, the fitting above of hexagonal form, supporting a bud, partly fitted for electrical use, London 1931, maker Birmingham Guild of Handicraft Ltd, the principal circular dish diameter 38cm, gross weight including electrical fittings approx 3500 gms

- There is a hole to the centre of the upper dish possibly where a rod would have been but is now missing
- One of the rectangular links between the two dishes is bent
