Condition report:
- Ivory finial is very loose
- There are a few dents to the body
- No signs of any previous erasures or engravings
- The rim of the lid has knock
- The handle is strong however has been reinforced at the bottom by a piece of metal, there is a large crack below the thumb piece
- Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but legible
- Heavily tarnished with wear in keeping with age
