Painted to the exterior with four figurative panels, possibly from the Romance of the Western Chamber, the interior painted with five boys at play beneath a diaper border reserved with flower panels, apochryphal six character Chenghua mark, 22cm diameter.

There is a shallow chip to the inside of the footrim, approx. 0.5cm by 0.3cm. Otherwise in good condition with some minor specking to the glaze 
Under UV light no signs of restoration or cracks
