Contemporary calf-backed paper boards (rubbed, joints split, one signature and a conjugate plate detached, some other leaves loose). Provenance: Sigurd von Numers (modern signature on the title; please see note to lot 304). The final, and largest, plate is captioned "View of Herschel's Forty foot reflecting Telescope." cf.
