Hand-coloured engraved map of northern Italy, title within baroque cartouche, sea-monster and galleon, Latin text on verso (some staining mainly to the left-hand side of the map, more visible in the margins, very small wormtrack at centrefold, strip of adhesive tape attached to the verso of the upper margin, not affecting the image), 350 x 470mm., unframed. The map, which is oriented to the west, depicts the Mediterranean coast from Nice to Pisa, and includes the cities of Milan, Parma, Cremona and Pavia, in addition to lakes Maggiore, Lugano and Como.
