Title with hand-coloured vignette and 37 hand-coloured engraved plates extracted from the work in the title, chiefly comprising views by Thomas H. Shepherd of the buildings around Regent's Park, each contained in a window mount, mounted on hinges throughout, double-page hand-coloured engraved plan of Regent's Park at the front. FINELY BOUND in modern full crushed scarlet morocco by Henry Sotheran, the upper cover lettered in gilt, "Shepherd's Views of and Around Regent's Park. 1827", the spine lettered in gilt with five raised bands, gilt edges, marbled endpapers.
