Provenance: Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon (old armorial bookplate). NUMBER 713 OF 1,450 COPIES. Loosely-inserted is Francis Meynell's rare note relating to this edition, printed on a single sheet, headed: "On First Looking into Pope's Homer".
