Original blue buckram with the obverse of the medallion stamped in gilt on the upper cover, an armorial motif stamped on the lower, the spine lettered in gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut. Provenance: Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon (modern armorial bookplate loosely-inserted).
