Griffin, 1821. 2 volumes, 4to (300 x 242mm). Engraved portrait of William Hogarth, 159 engraved plates by Cooke and Davenport after Hogarth, one folding (occasional spotting and staining, some offsetting of plates onto text). Contemporary black straight-grained morocco gilt, gilt edges (rubbed, scuffed and scratched). Provenance: unidentified armorial bookplate with motto "Auspicium melioris æui." This edition, with Trusler's commentary, is not listed in Brunet. (2)
