Mounted coloured frontispiece and 27 coloured plates by Edmund Dulac, text within double rule border and with head- and tailpieces throughout, ornaments. Original pictorial vellum gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut (very slightly bowed, lacks ties). Provenance: Cecily Mary Severne (bookplate); Amanda Caroline Severne (bookplate). A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST DULAC EDITION. NUMBER 393 OF 750 "EDITION DE LUXE" COPIES SIGNED BY THE ARTIST.
