GRANT OF ARMS - A fine large calligraphic manuscript on vellum granting Arms to Edward Pineles of Chateau des Vallettes, Tourettes-sur-Loup, formerly of Grenville Place in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the granted coat-of-arms ("Per Chevron Or and Gules in Chief Two Keys Wards Upwards and in Base a Harp all Counterchanged"), decorative border, Royal coat-of-arms and initial all elaborately painted in gold and colours, signed at the foot by Anthony R. Wagner (Garter Principal King of Arms), J. R. B. Walker, (Clarenceux King of Arms) and Walter J. Verco (Norroy and Ulster King of Arms), with three wax seals (unexamined out of frame) in gold metal cases on blue ribbons, the most recent date mentioned in the manuscript being October 1973, 550 x 680mm., framed and glazed.
Condition Report: The Grant of Arms has been mounted in a picture frame behind glass (glazed).
