Woodcut devices on titles, headpiece and initial, illustrations and diagrams (Bbiii torn without loss, light mainly marginal spotting and staining). Contemporary limp vellum (stained and wrinkled). Provenance: William Reid (armorial bookplate); Kenney Collection (label); from the Collection of Peter and Margarethe Braune. The third part is dedicated to fireworks, many of which are illustrated; the fourth part consists of Denis (or Didier) Henrion’s notes on the work. It was first printed in Paris in 1630.
