Owen, R.N. London: Richard Bentley, 1835. 2 volumes, 8vo (212 x 135mm). 4 lithographed plates (without half titles, plates very lightly browned). Modern calf-backed pebbled boards, spines gilt. Provenance: from the Collection of Lt. Cdr. Andrew David (bookplate). FIRST EDITION. One of the plates illustrates a “Hippopotamus Trap”. See lot 648 for another account of the same voyage.
