Large woodcut printer’s device on title, foliated initials, ornaments, text and scholia printed in Latin and Greek (lacks blank before title, title lightly stained with a few ink spots, occasional very light mainly marginal staining, a few darker spots). Contemporary vellum, title in old manuscript on spine. Provenance: “Judas Iscariot, Judas Iscariot, false as Judas Iscariot, Queen’s College” (puzzling old inscription on front pastedown); Baldwin (old signature on title, and some early annotation); Blackwells, Oxford (label); G.
