Pearlware, with three transfer printed panels, one with 'Northumberland 74' (HMS Northumberland was a 74 gun ship that carried Napoleon to St Helena), and two of Masonic poems, together with a Sunderland lustreware jug also decorated with Masonic transfers, and a smaller Sunderland lustreware Masonic jug with two poem transfers and a boat to front

The largest jug with restoration to spout and interior, star crack visible to exterior panel of 'Northumberland 74' approx. 16cm across. The medium jug with restored handle, small loss and crack to base of handle, fritting to spout, firing cracks above foot, extensive crazing. The smaller jug with restoration to spout, glaze losses to rim, small loss to base of handle, small chip to foot rim. Normal wear commensurate with age and use throughout.
