Condition report:

The column is with a polished surface finish, emulating granite or even porphyry with portor socles. There are numerous small chips to the edges of the square top and plinth base along the edges.  The square plinth to the top does not come off but is fixed/secured. The underside reveals a pink terracotta core, however it is not possible to inspect the other parts as they are all firmly secured.

Despite the few chips inevitable scuffs, scratches and marks commensurate with wear, use and age, the column is in good condition.

It most likely dates from the end of 20th Century.
