A SILVER PAIR CASED, KEY WIND, OPENFACED POCKET WATCH, WITH CHAIN, KEY AND SEAL

The gilt fusee movement with a verge escapement, detailed to the back plate Wm Yeadon, Stourbridge, the enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute numerals, the inner case London 1755, the outer case unmarked, 4.9cm across, fitted with a steel chain and monogram seal engraved pendant seal and with a watch key

Condition Report; the fusee chain is detached, therefore watch not currently working.  Lead solder within the inner case where the post fits in, only the inner case is hallmarked, dial has haircracks and chips around 6 and 7 o'clock, small hole drilled where the movement release button is positioned, one of the hands is a replacement (they do not perfectly match), sticky label to back of inner case, outer case not marked, hinge pin to dial cover is coming out at one end, post is base metal, but hinged bow looks probably silver, chain and seal in good condition. Generally in good condition, with general age related wear.  Initial engraved monogram only, no crest/armorial
