Decorated overall with vignettes of figures to the sides and a hunting sign to the hinged cover, on dragon mask feet, 24cm wide; 15cm high; together with another Chinese Export gilt decorated box, with hinged lid and inscribed ‘E.F. ALFORD’, 19th Century, cm high

Condition report: 

With a key. 

Wear and rubbing to the decoration in areas commensurate with use and age. 

A few small little, tiny chips to the extremities. 

Good condition. 

The second box is probably earlier in date, earlier 19th Century. Wear to hte decoration and and general chips to the extremities. 

Losses to the lacquer inside around the hinge area.
