Condition Report;  Slight weakness to marks underneath, dents to body and thinning, at least four lead solder repairs to the body presumably to rectify leaking.  Handle repaired and strengthened by rivets, insulation to handle with horn? replacements.  Repairs and dents to handle.  Hinge to lid repaired with replacement semi-circular fitting and also old repair within. When held to the light, there are two piercings where the silver has worn through.  Overall rather tired.

Finial possibly replaced

Decoration; in our opinion the decoration is contemporary.
