Condition Report There are no obvious signs of an erasure, however, there is evidence of solder repair to the left of the engraved crest near to the border of the cartouche. There are otherwise a few dents to the body, solder repair below and to the right of the handle and other solder repairs, some of which are lead solder to the body. Flaw to metal where the spout meets the side of the teapot. Wind nut is cross threaded, finial to lid is loose and will not tighten. Handle has been re-rivetted in the past.
