Condition report:
The woolwork appliqué has been applied to the backing cloth at a later time, see images. The wool embroidery is relativey thick with some of the backing to the appliqué visible in some areas at the very edges. A few areas are quite worn and faded, see extra images. Some of the wool work is later, in particular the exotic bird which looks later with brighter colours and a bright red which is inconsistent with other redder toners. The backing cloth with some spots of discolouration and holes in areas. See extra images. The cloth has then later re backed at some point.
