An oval panel has been applied to one side, probably covering a previous crest or monogram, the anchor crest to the other side has not been previously engraved, body has quite a lot of denting, one of the spherical feet is badly dented and is also split and out of alignment, scratch code and further marks underneath, interior gilding is now very weak, generally rather tired
