Provenance:
Built and owned by the previous owner's husband, who was the godson of C.J.E. Hall, the owner of Windward II, which was built and sailed on Windermere. C.J.E. Hall was also an Honorary Life Commodore of the Royal Windermere Yacht Club. The yacht was built in 1928, the 6th and last of her class to be built; known as the 19' ft Windermere Class. She remained on the water until after World War Two. The builder of this model yacht crewed for C.J.E. Hall and must have built this at some point in the 1930s/40s using the original plans, except for the keel. A typed history of the yacht has been retained and is included with the lot.
