Hallmarks to exterior of lid are a bit worn, hallmarks to body are also a little rubbed, handle sound, part hallmark to the detachable finial is Sheffield 1840, no apparent makers mark to the finial, strawberry is bent over, Sheffield makers marks of HW&S, there appears to be a solder join within the lid that is not apparent on the exterior
