CONDITION REPORT

Handle sound, one or two very small scuff marks, lid slightly raised along one edge overall good condition, no traces of inscription to either side panels, indistinct makers mark to the handle, does not appear to be the same as that for Henry William Curry to the underside, as there is no date letter to the mark on the handle it is therefore possibly a replacement, it is not in perfect alignment with the socket joins on the body of the teapot, this was clearly done some time ago and is not to the detriment of the teapot now. The lower section of the lid finial has duty mark and passant lion only. The makers mark of the post of the finial is WJWC which appears to be the same as indistinctly marked on the handle. The wing nut is only marked with a passant lion
