Condition report:
The mirror was original a girandole - as indicated by two spaces at the bottom edge where the candle arms would have been connected.
Repairs to the pediment where the flower heads have been repaired and the scallop shell appears to be an awkward attachment and probably later.
Overall regilt surfaces - now with various chips and losses to the gesso.
The mirror plate with various losses to the silvering, discolouration, scuffs and sratches. The backboard to the reverse is later.
