Engraved title, plates and maps, some folding or full-page (title severely trimmed and laid down with some loss, many plates and leaves torn and repaired, sometimes with loss, some spotting and staining). Contemporary calf (rebacked, very worn). Provenance: "[?]T. J. E. Harden, August 4th 1905, from Chelsea. (Dad.) Thomas Richard Blanch" (inscription on front free endpaper).
